Might as well let the Celtic Dancers play!
The record for the longest losing streak in the NBA is held by two lowly teams, the 1995-96 Vancouver Grizzlies and the 1997-98 Denver Nuggets, each losing 23 games in a row. The Boston Celtics have now lost 16 in a row. If they don't win soon, meaning beat either New Jersey, Minnesota, or Milwaukee, they're going to have a tough time not having the worst streak ever. If they get to 19 games without winning they take a West Coast Road trip where they'll have to face the Kings, Suns, Lakers, Jazz, & Rockets. Good luck. This all adds up to the most discussed topic right now: who is better Greg Oden or Kevin Durant. If you've followed college basketball at all it's clear these two guys are dominant. Personally, I'd rather have Kevin Durant on my team. I've watched Oden 3 times this year, most recently against Michigan. The man is amazing on defense. He blocks shots and has a presence to anyone that goes in the lane. But he still hasn't figured out how to rebound over guys or get in good position for a box out. He also needs to add some offensive moves. All are well within his capability. I haven't seen Durants game except for on Sportscenter, but he looks like a phenomenal athlete with unbelievable upside. 6-10 swingman who is scoring upper 20's in college. If he gets hot during the tournament I'm not sure what team is going to stop Texas. Be careful! Anyway, I'm pulling for the Knicks to lose as much as possible and perhaps get lucky and snag one of the top two picks because the always moronic Isaiah Thomas owes a 2007 draft pick to the Bulls. Can you imagine this Bulls team with either Oden or Durant. They would need Oden much more as they don't need anymore swingmen but then you could get away with trading Gorden, Nocioni, or Deng. So, go Knicks and good luck Celtics.
